Finance Officer/Manager Job Roles and Responsibilities Requirements
● Accounting and Administrative work, Business Management, Finance and Account Operation and
control.
● Management of Payroll
● Tax planning (within current legislation to enable them to minimise their tax liability) and tax
issues associated with activities such as business acquisitions and mergers
● Maintain accounting records and prepare accounts and management information for businesses
(accountancy)
● Liaise with internal and external auditors (where applicable) and deal with any financial
irregularities as they arise
● Produce reports and recommendations following internal audits or public-sector audits
● Prepare financial statements, including monthly and annual accounts
● Arrange financial management reports, including financial planning and forecasting
● Advise on tax and treasury issues
● Negotiate terms with suppliers
● Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
● Maintains financial security by following internal controls.
● Prepares payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.
● Complies with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements , existing and new legislation,
enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
Finance Officer/Manager Job Requirements
● Qualified CA/ACCA
● A high level of commitment and self-motivation
● Ability to take responsibility and functions independently.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
● Have excellent organisational and IT skills.
● Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills
● The capacity to lead a team
● Honesty, integrity and trustworthiness
● Proven Experience in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Payroll Management and Business
Management.
● Proven Experience in Finance, Accounting, Auditing, Legal Compliance, Business Administration
and Management.
● Excellent knowledge of prevailing laws, policies, legal compliance, process and procedures.
